
J. David Boyle,
President
Mr. Boyle is based in Tokyo and is engaged in introducing Linkage
approach to organizational and leadership development solutions, with
the mission of establishing Linkage as a primary source of these solutions
in Japan. Mr. Boyle has advised U.S. corporate clients in Japan, Japanese
companies with global operations and companies in Europe. His primary
focus has been on helping clients enhance their competitiveness by
developing aligned and integrated global organizations and practices
as they emerge from a headquarters-centered model. Prior to joining
Linkage in 2005, David held positions in investment banking and was
President & CEO of Clarke Consulting Group.
He holds a bachelor's
degree from the University of Chicago, and an MBA in Finance from the
University Of Chicago School Of Business. Mr. Boyle was born in Japan
and lived there for 14 years before moving to the United States. Mr.
Boyle is a member of the Organizational Design Forum, the Organizational
Development Network, the American Society for Training and Development,
and the Society for Organizational Learning.
Hisae Kitagishi,
Director and Senior Consultant
Ms. Kitagishi brings to Linkage Japan a wealth of leadership experience in consulting
for human capital strategy as well as human resources management. Her
experience is based equally on external and internal consulting as well
as HR management at global firms in Tokyo. Ms. Kitagishifs human
resources expertise was enhanced by broad business and academic experiences
in the U.S. and Japan. She has responsibility for the full portfolio of
Linkage Japanfs business, with specialization in organizational consulting
for Talent Management, Gender Strategies, Global Organization and Executive
Teams, as well as Executive Coaching.
Ms. Kitagishifs extensive HR background encompass a range of leadership experiences
from employer branding to competency mapping and career development, focused
on global business applications at Goldman Sachs and Microsoft in Tokyo. In
the course of her assignments she gained expertise in policy coordination,
strategy analysis, organizational assessment, program design and operating
management. Prior to her HR career she also picked up valuable experience
with systems/management strategies as a project manager for software localization
projects. Ms. Kitagishi established her grounding in instructional
design as an instructor for three universities in the U.S., an experience
that also established her fascination with the world of education and training.
Ms. Kitagishi has a Masterfs Degree from the University of Washington and a Bachelorfs
Degree from Kyoto Sangyo University. She also studied Korean
language at the Yonsei University Korean Language Institute.
Yoshiharu Matsui
Senior Consultant
Mr. Matsui brings a global management background to organizational consulting,
having spent 12 years in marketing management for global packaged goods
and pharmaceutical products as well as 10 years in human resources and
organizational effectiveness. His career includes many years at Procter & Gamble
in Japan and Asia, rounded out by positions with global companies in the
IT, fashion and other sectors. In his marketing years, he led multifunctional
teams in introducing new brands as well as a managing a variety of other
marketing programs. He developed particular expertise as a marketing
manager in strategy formation, concept development, and many areas in customer
relationship and research. His HR/OD career saw him rise to senior
positions as Asia Region Director of Organizational Effectiveness as well
as HR Director for Japan and Taiwan.
Mr. Matsui is a widely experienced internal and external consultant whose
broad exposure provides him with valuable perspective in organizational
analysis and advisory assignments. His project experience includes
a large-scale consulting program for a Japan-based pharmaceutical company
in which we helped the client establish a new, shared understanding of
global organization dynamics to support a new strategy for global integration.
Mr. Matsuifs primary consulting focus is in our practice areas related
to Global Organization, Executive Teams, Leadership and Talent Management. He
has an MBA in Marketing and Organization Development and is currently working
on a PhD degree.
